Wyatt Sanders….

Before moving to Brooklyn, NY, and graduating from UX Academy, I lived in sun-drenched Los Angeles for four years, working as a restaurant server and getting my photography legs under me.

I learned to thrive in the fast-paced environment of restaurants, where multitasking and problem-solving were essential. During that time, I fixed the organization for the front-of-house to increase efficiency during peak hours and spearheaded the creation of new cocktails to drive up average beverage sales.

With nearly a decade of experience in the food industry empathizing with customers’ needs while meeting business goals (much like user-centered design), I decided to make a career change that would be more fulfilling.

I take my experiences from restaurants and photography with me as I grow as a product designer. I’m passionate about finding logical and aesthetically pleasing solutions to challenging problems, with my subject always in focus.

If I’m not out taking photos and exploring the city with friends, I’m eating tikka masala and listening to indie bands with female leads (ex. Little Dragon, L’Imperatrice, Remi Wolf).
