WYATT SANDERS
BROOKLYN, NY
Before I landed in New York, I spent four years in Los Angeles working in restaurants and finding my footing in photography. Nearly a decade in hospitality taught me how to read a room, solve problems in real time, and anticipate what people need before they ask. When I transitioned into design after graduating from UX Academy and settling in Brooklyn, I brought that same instinct with me: an attention to detail, a feel for people, and a belief that the best work feels effortless, even when it isn’t.
For the past two years I've been building my freelance practice as an Art Director, working across branding, campaign strategy, photography, and digital design. My background in UX/UI informs everything I make. I think about how things are experienced, not just how they look, and I believe the strongest creative work happens at the intersection of the two. The projects in this portfolio reflect that approach, from brand identities built from the ground up to photo campaigns designed to make people feel something before they can explain why.
When I'm not working, you'll find me strolling through Prospect Park, adding to my record collection, playing soccer, or losing my money playing poker with friends.
I'm currently open to new opportunities and am always happy to chat.
